In a significant leap for mobile payments in India, Paytm has introduced the NFC Card Soundbox, a two-in-one device that combines mobile QR payments with NFC card technology. This innovation aims to revolutionise small merchant transactions.
Lightrun launches its AI debugger to help developers fix their production codes
Lightrun, Tel Aviv-based startup that helps developers debug their production code from within their IDE, on Wednesday announced the launch of its first AI-based tool: the Runtime Autonomous AI Debugger. The new tool, which is currently in private beta, aims to help developers fix issues with their production code within minutes instead of hours.
NAAC to implement AI technology for streamlined accreditation process
The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) is set to adopt Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to streamline and enhance the efficiency of its accreditation process. This new system will be operational from September, aiming to make the process easier and efficient. AI technology will assist in data collection, processing, and analysis, significantly reducing the need for human intervention.
Over 30% GenAI projects won't survive beyond proof of concept - Gartner
Out of all the projects being undertaken currently in Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), around 30 per cent are bound to be dropped by the end of 2025, owing to issues such as poor data quality, inadequate risk controls, escalating costs or unclear business value, according to a report by Gartner.
