PwC to become OpenAI's largest enterprise customer amid genAI boom

PwC will become the largest customer and first reseller of OpenAI's enterprise product as part of a new deal, the accounting giant said on Wednesday, as businesses rush to adopt and capitalise on generative artificial intelligence. PwC will roll out ChatGPT Enterprise, a version of the Microsoft-backed (MSFT.O), which opens a new tab AI startup's chatbot aimed at large companies. The firm will provide ChatGPT Enterprise to its 75,000 U.S. employees and 26,000 UK employees, according to the Wall Street Journal which first reported the agreement.

Perplexity AI’s new feature will turn your searches into shareable pages

AI-powered summaries of webpages are a feature that you will find in many AI-centric tools these days. The next step for some of these tools is to prepare detailed and well-formatted web pages for your search queries. The Arc browser is doing this to some extent through its Arc Search app. Apple is rumoured to release its own smart recap feature for web pages and articles. The latest addition to this trend is Perplexity AI.

Microsoft's Copilot is now on Telegram

Microsoft’s Copilot, a generative AI-powered tool that can generate text as well as answer specific questions, is now available as an in-app chatbot on Telegram, the instant messaging app. Currently in beta, Copilot for Telegram allows you to talk with the AI chatbot as if you’re having a normal, one-on-one conversation with a friend. It can also answer a wide range of questions, from general knowledge queries like “What movie should I watch?” to questions such as “What baseball game is on right now?” The feature was first spotted by Windows Latest.

Agnikul successfully launches SOrTeD, achieves many firsts

Two days after it was forced to call off the launch of its Agnibaan’s “SubOrbital Technological Demonstrator or SOrTeD” mission, spacetech startup Agnikul Cosmos Thursday carried out a successful mission, giving Indian space sector several firsts. “Congratulations to Agnikul for the successful launch of the Agnibaan SoRTed-01 mission from their launch pad.

Microsoft plans to remove Cortana and WordPad apps with upcoming updates

Microsoft, in its latest build of Windows 11, plans to end support for Cortana virtual assistant, Tips and WordPad apps. The company behind Windows earlier announced the removal of the Cortana standalone app from Windows 11 in a preview build for Insiders, released in early October.
